Abnormal uterine bleeding is the changes in frequency of menses, duration flow or amount blood loss. AUB affects 1/3 women child bearing age. Increased endometrial thickness a common cause abnormal bleeding. Unopposed action estrogen on tissue hyperplasia. Heavy menstrual main clinical feature this condition. Premenopausal period more susceptible to hyperplasia endometrium. Atypical type may lead cancer. Medical management with correction hormone imbalance first line treatment. According Ayurveda Asrugdara condition where there occurrence heavy Excess intake food which are Lavana (salt), Amla (sour), Guru (heavy) Teekshna (pungent) and Snigda (unctuous) etc leads There 4 types Asrugdara. The nature Kaphaja (heavy), Seetalam (cold) Ghanam (dense). In Paithika asrugdara excess This case report 40 yr old female subject who came OPD Prasutitantra streeroga, Govt. college Thiruvananthapuram complaints irregular She had undergone allopathic both medical surgical. Her was 19mm at commencement that time features Kapha paithika hence treatment principle were applied here. patient got considerable relief features, reduced number pads from 15-18/day 3 pads/day her 35 days days.
